Golf's House

Golf’s House is a single-family residential project located in a gated community in Escobar, Buenos Aires.

The ground floor is organized into two main areas: the living area and the dining kitchen area; and on the upper floor, the bedroom area and the master suite. In both cases, the two blocks are connected by the staircase core. This articulation results in a space that is both continuous and segmented.

The ground floor opens laterally in two sheltered moments, in semi-covered outdoor spaces. These are a result of the offset configuration of the ground floor areas. This layout creates a balanced relationship through the diagonal arrangement of the two spaces, which function as counterparts to one another.

The project establishes a low-permeability relationship with neighboring lots by presenting mostly solid side façades, while openings are directed toward the front and the garden. The design consistently operates with a front-to-back, unidirectional spatial relationship.
