Las Casuarinas House

Las Casuarinas House is a single-family residential project developed on one level, located on a plot within a private neighborhood in Luján, Buenos Aires Province. The house is organized into three independent volumes connected to one another. Each volume corresponds to a specific use: the garage and barbecue area, the dining and kitchen area, and the living and bedroom areas. The project arranges the house’s program toward the garden, preserving the privacy of the living and high-use spaces. This is also reflected in its façades, with mostly closed fronts facing the street and open rear façades with large openings toward the garden.

The volumes are rhythmically arranged according to a structural module that defines the gallery structure. These modules also mark the placement of patios along the long façade facing the street. With the introduction of these patios, the project seeks to bring vegetation and natural light into the interior, multiplying visual connections with the exterior.
